Best-in-class performance

8020 is our largest machine (at 2.1 tonnes) that can be legally towed by a standard 4x4 vehicle. (please check vehicle handbook for maximum towing limit)

Tier III Perkins engine is cleverly repositioned to aid weight distribution and allow fuel and hydraulic tanks to be located at the rear, eliminating the need for excessive counter weighting
The machine features twin-speed auto kickdown tracking, a larger boom (140mm bigger than other 801 series machines) and large capacity pump, all as standard
A hydraulically extendable undercarriage and extended counter weight (by 100mm) give increased lift capacity and stability

Tubular boom design is stronger and more durable than a traditional fabricated style; it has been subjected to almost twice the usual strength testing (over one million cycles
This boom is lighter, helping to reduce transportation weight
Boom also provides protection against site damage for the dig-end hoses, which are routed through it
